The island is only accessible via boat or helicopter. Great Adventures operate fast catamaran transfers to and from the island daily. These boat transfers are complimentary for house guests and will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.
From the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns:
The Reef Fleet terminal is located at 1 Spence St Cairns. On arrival, please proceed to Green Island Resort's check-in counter located inside the Terminal for baggage drop off and to receive your boarding passes.
Coach transfers to the terminal are available at additional cost from most hotels and resorts in Cairns and the Northern Beaches.
Luggage:
Due to Queensland Government Workplace Health and Safety requirements for manual luggage handling, the maximum weight of luggage is 23kg per bag/case. Should a single piece of luggage exceed 23kg, contents will need to be transferred to another bag which will be provided.
Helicopter Transfers:
Nautilus Aviation helicopter transfers are available on request. Please enquire when booking.
Departure times may be subject to change. Additional transfers may be available, please enquire on booking.
Transfers take approximately 45 minutes each way.
